Yogurt Parfait

I’m trying something new and I know it’s not a smoothie but I really wanted to do this. One thing before you go on I want to say that I don’t know which one it is either a fruit parfait or a yogurt parfait, there is a poll below and on the last day of June I will see which name has the most votes and call the parfait that name. Remember if I don’t choose your name you can still call you parfaits that name.

Everything you need:

Of course, Yogurt

Any fruit you want ( Example: 6 strawberry halves, 10 blueberries.)

Cup

Spoon

How to make it (it’s pretty easy):

Put 1/4 of the fruit in the bottom of the cup

Put the yogurt in the cup

Put the rest of the  fruit in

Is I told you it was easy because all yo;u have to do is put a little of this in, a lot of this in and the rest of that in.

Visalus Vi-Shake Smoothies

This is something I just heard about this and wanted to write a post about it. If you do not get what I’m talking about just continue reading this here is the recipe

Chocolate Banana Vi Shake

8 ounces Almond Milk

2 scoops Vi shake protein mix

1/2 banana

1 tablespoon sugar free chocolate pudding mix

4 ice cubes

blend well

Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie

Everything you need:

6 Strawberries (sliced)

1/2 Kiwi (sliced)

1 spoon full of yogurt

Blender

1 cup

Serving size: 1 cup

How to make it:

Put the strawberries in the blender.

Put the Kiwi in the blender.

Put the yogurt in the blender.

Turn the blender on for a half of a minute check to see if it is too lumpy if it is do the same thing.

Vala you have a Strawberry Kiwi Smoothie.

Really Weird Smoothie I Made

I was bored one day and I had Pineapple, strawberries, frozen rasberries, and orange juice because I couldn’t have milk then I blended it and froze it.

This is what you need for the recipe:

5 small cubes of pineapple.

5 strawberries.

10 frozen rasberries.

1/2 cup of orange juice.

2 tablespoons of sugar or what you want.

Tablespoon.

Something to mix with.

Blender.

Freezer.

2 cups.

serving size: 2 cups

How to make it:

First put the pineapple in the blender.

Then you put the strawberrries in.

Put the rasberrries in the blender.

Put the orange juice in.

Put the cover on the blender.

Turn blender on as high as you want for as long as you want.

Pour the smoothie into each cup.

Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar in each cup.

Mix the sugar in with the smoothie.

Freezer for at least 12 hours.

Enjoy.

Are Smoothies Good for You?

Some of you are thinking, ” Why is she asking are smoothies good for you, of course they are.”

Well I know smoothies are good for you but I wanted to tell you how good they are for you, so first they are good for you because they have fruit and yogurt but it depends on how good the yogurt is. I recommend Dannon light and fit yogurt because I use it all the time for smoothies that use yogurt and it tastes good in my opinion plus it is good for you. Another way smoothies are good for you is because they give you  fiber and nutrients. With blueberries, citrus, grapes, kiwi, and spinach you get the most vitamins you need for a day, but it has to be in your smoothie. If you make a smoothie everyday you will be heathy in no time.

Somebody on my last post commented that they didn’t know that you didn’t have to have a certain amount of things in your smoothies. Well you don’t you can have as much as you want and what you want.

Mango Pineapple Smoothie

What you need:

Diced Mango ( as much as you want)

Diced Pineapple (as much as you want)

Vanilla yogurt (as much as you want)

Blender

1 Cup

Ice (as much as you want

How to make it

1. Plug the blender in.

2.Take the top of the blender off.

3. Put the diced Mango in the blender.

4. Put the diced Pineapple in the blender.

5. Put the yogurt in the blender.

6. Put the ice in the blender.

7. Put the top of the blender on.

8. Turn the blender on as high as you want and for as long as you want.

9. Take the top off of the blender and pour the smoothie into the cup.

10. Please enjoy.

What You Need For Most Smoothie

You need a Blender unless you are going to chop it up by yourself but I don’t recommend that. You need a cup unless you are going to drink right out of the blender which I still don’t recommend. You might need yogurt, you might also need ice, and ice cream. Something that you need for a fruit smoothie it is really obvious FRUIT!!!!!!! If you are just making smoothies you can just look at my previous posts or you could comment on this post and tell me what you want to learn how to make.

Some things that used could use in a smoothie, ice, ice cream, straw, and yogurt that is about it.

P.S. I heard of two new smoothies and one  is Kiwi/Strawberry but I’m not sure I will like it because there are seeds and I don’t like seeds in my smoothies. The other one is Mango/Pinapple.

Smoothies

I have only heard of 7 kinds of smoothies but only made 4 kinds If I make more I will tell you about it. The 7 kinds I’ve heard of are: Strawberry, strawberry/Banana, Banana, Frozen Banana, Peach, Mango, and Peach/Mango. I’ve already tried to make Frozen Banana, Banana, Peach/ Mango, and Strawberry/ Banana. The next smoothies that I want to blog about and this is in order I will do them in are: Strawberry, Peach, and Mango. I will look for different kinds and make them but until then I only have the 7. If you have any smoothie ideas please comment on this and I will try them in different ways. There is a smoothie I might try to make and it is the mandarin orange smoothie. I will not tell you if it is used with ice cream and yogurt so you have to see what it is.

How to Make A Peach/Mango Smoothie

Everything you will need:

Sliced peaches

Sliced mangos

Plain Yogurt

Cup(s)

Blender

Serving Size: any size

How to do it:

Plug the Blender in

Put the sliced peaches and mangos in the blender

Put the Plain Yogurt in the blender

Turn the blender on to your liking

when you are done put the smoothie in the cup(s)

and enjoy

this is my 2nd post on smoothies so I am still getting used to this my next post will be on different kinds of smoothies not on how they are made.

How to Make My Frozen Banana Smoothie

Everything you will need:

Blender

Half Cup Milk

1 Banana

1 Cup

1 Ice Cube

2 scoops of Ice Cream                                              Serving Size: 1 cup

How to make it:

Step 1: Plug in the Blender  (Cation: You may want an adult to help unless you are one)

Step 2: Put two scoops of ice cream in  the blender

Step 3:  Put half of a cup of milk in the blender

Step 4: Break the banana in half and put it in the blender

Step 5: Put one ice-cube in the blender

Step 6: Put the cover on the blender

Step 7: Turn the blender on to as high as you want and for as long as you want

Step 8: Pour the smoothie into a cup and enjoy

I personally like to make this because it is heathy, good for a hot summer day, and you can add anything to it if you don’t like bananas. Somethings I want to put in the frozen banana smoothie is chocolate syrup (the thing that most people put on their ice cream), mango pieces, and peach pieces. Don’t make the mistake of forgetting to put the ice in the blender before you blend everything else because you don’t know how many times I made that mistake, because it doesn’t taste the same. Be sure not to make the ice too crushed up so it gets to be watery. This way you can have a smoothie without yogurt if you can’t stand it.
